WHAT IS FENG SHUI ?

The basic principles of Feng Shui

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese discipline of improving every aspect of your life by acting on the environment according to the principles of harmony and energy flow.
This applies primarily to the habitat, workplace and especially construction. Many architects are now using Feng Shui advisors to optimize their projects.
It is also the art of creating a living space to build a healthier and more harmonious environment, the goal being to circulate the energies for your well-being as acupuncture does on the human body.
By using specific formulas, a kind of energy map is created to determine the main energy fields on a property. These energy fields can be activated by the use of location (i.e. placing a house or room) and direction (i.e. facing of the building itself or the main door, a bed and/or stove). Tapping into these profitable energy fields will greatly enhance all areas of your life. Sometimes only a few adjustments will suffice to create significant and positive changes.

A little history of Feng Shui

Classical Feng Shui is the metaphysical science of energy, that exists more than 4000 years, and derived from meticulous observations of landforms and the flow of energy in the land in relation to the environment.
To this day, in Asia, for example in Hong Kong or Singapore, no bank or business centre will open without the advice and intervention of a Feng Shui Practitioner. The city of Hong Kong is entirely built on the foundation of Feng Shui, also Monaco, on the initiative of Princess Grace Kelly.
In the US and Europe, its implementation has been slower, despite a growing number of consultants, trainers, articles in magazines and books on the subject, especially since the late 1980s.
Some large companies have taken the plunge and call on Feng Shui consultants in the construction or renovation of their premises, for example the Apple Store in London, the terminal G of Charles-de-Gaulle airport in Paris, some hotels of the Sofitel chain and many others.

The benefits of Feng Shui

By balancing out the flow of energy in places of life and work, Feng Shui can restore health, harmony and prevent harm, it creates a harmonious life. It enhances relationships, family relations, health, well-being at work, a balanced spirituality, confidence and self-esteem. It also works for your business: its location, its environment, its workspaces … Even though Feng Shui is not just decoration, the advice applied in the interiors and exteriors create a soothing and balancing visual harmony.
